Are Sarah Palin's ethics a true reflection of Hollywood?

Sarah Palin aligns her public image with the heartland, but it appears the former Alaska Governor has gone Hollywood. And when she leaves, she may be taking some of it with her.

On top of an appearance on the Tonight Show and rumors that she's shopping around a TV show with reality producer Mark Burnett, Palin and her entourage were seen partaking in one of celebrity's lushest rituals -- the Oscar gifting suite.

While the group was loading up on freebies, the Los Angeles Times reported that, "Palin's middle child, Willow, got her hair styled, receiving a blowout from Erick Orellana of the Chris McMillan Salon (Jennifer Aniston's longtime hairstylist)."

The Times also indicated that Palin was supposed to donate $1,700 along with all of her gift items to the Red Cross, which is currently helping with relief efforts in Haiti and Chile.

But E! Online insists, "we can assure you she did not give up any of her swag." They quote an unnamed vendor who claims that upwards of 20 people from the Palin camp swarmed the event. "They were like locusts," he told the entertainment news outlet.

According to AOL's Pop Eater, publicist Ben Russo of EMC/Bowery said, "she kind of cleaned the place out." They list out a number of her swag-grabs, including United Hair Care products, jewels from Pascal Mouawad, Skagen watches and a whopping 40 pairs or AIAIAI earphones.

It didn't stop there. HollywoodLife.com reports that she also picked up a blue Kenya robe from designer Jenna Leigh, facewash and a pair of foam Bandal sandals.

Or, in common-sense language, Palin and her handlers, "practically cleaned out the suite."

Another unnamed source, from HollywoodLife.com, says that the former Vice Presidential candidate was intent on spreading all that wealth around her own circle. "She insisted every person in her huge entourage get something, and there were assistants, nannies, security - insanity!" The same source also said that security swept the venue and would not allow photos, which are often expected by companies to use as promotion in exchange for the free products.
One Palin question is now virtually stalking. The Reps are endlessly entertaining.

I have been watching japanese television and the drama broadcasts on Fuji TV at 2:00pm Japan time. All I know is that the show started out with a girl and a guy arriving on a plane. They both have the same designer tan leather bag and the stylish guy picks his up and leaves. Then the girl with bobbed brown hair wakes up late and grabs what she thinks is her bag and leaves. The guy meets his girlfriend who started hiding for some reason before hugging him at the terminal.

The girl and the guy from the plane then get into a car chase when the girl's car window gets splashed with water. The ending of it was random when the guy finally swerves the car in front of them and stares at the girl while her car is about to run into the side of his car. The girl and the other two guys in her car scream but stop in time and the cocky guy just drives away while Later that night the girl realizes that the bag is not hers and has to call the name on the gold tag.

At the girl's house an older couple (I think her parents) have a fight in their bedroom about something that the father is guilty of (i think) and the woman starts drinking and the guy wanders around guilty by the water. Some guy goes to give the guy an envelope but I don't know what happened. But the woman who was upset got a phone call, started crying, and then threw the phone at the mirror and screamed.

I know this is long but I'm giving as much of the story as I can so it can make this easier to figure out. Thank you!

The book was a romance, the girl was a sleepwalker and the man an insomniac. At the begining of the book, he is in a band and she is a schoolgirl watching a concert. They have a fling and then lose touch. The boys name could be Alex. They meet up again, he is now a teacher at a boarding school, she is a jewellry designer who has been left a tanzanite by an old lady who she used to visit. sound familiar to anyone?

Ex wife (of hubby) got her modification, court order, cannot be changed - and they are taking her for all the money that she scammed to claim throughout the years that she wasn't entitled to, and or require for the children. So greedy bitches who think child support payments are for your hairs and nails and designer clothes, watch out!

Do you lack creative style?

I believe this is the first time I have ever brought up this subject. I am 30 years old and most of the colors in my house are neutral, whites, blacks, browns, tans, etc. I like to watch HGTV and the DIY Network, and a lot of times designers pick out what look like ugly designs and colors. However in the end when they match it all together, it looks absolutely amazing. I totally lack that skill, even when it comes to clothes I never want to go too wild since I am not sure if I look like a fool or not.

I remember back in 1996 the clothes themselves were smoother looking even if colorful so you really couldn't go wrong on what clothes to wear. Now it is really crazy and I think most of the clothes people wear are extremely ugly. So I am embarrassed to say that I just wear plain Nike clothes and if I have to dress up I would wear a one color shirt/sweater with khakis. I just do not have that type of creativeness when it comes to style.

okay so i have clothes that im kind of tired of. i dont have much, but i want to find a way to make my outfits cute, comfy, fashionable.. all that stuff. but i cant buy any new clothes or accessories. like i said before, i dont have much. i have a few pairs of pants (3 skinnies), a few t-shirts, some long sleeve shirts.. the basic stuff. just casual, and not designer clothing or anything. and.. accessories? i have like 2 scarfs, some rings, a watch, like 2 necklaces.. and i think thats it. no earings because i dont have my ears pierced. and as more new style and stuff i dont know how to sew.. soo yeah.. sorry about long detail, (and sorry if it seemed like i was rambling on and on) but can i please have some help? i just need to spice it up.. thanks..

I feel so much potential and strange/ possibly misplaced sensitivity for them. I want to see everyone succeed, I don't get off on competing or watching anyone fail. I want everyone to learn and better their selves. I want everyone to feel good about their selves. Some of them don't believe in their self, I have trouble with that some times too but I really feel for them.

Doubt was traced over Hilary Finch’s face as she sat on her mahogany, powder-blue covered bed in one of the top-most dormitories of the terrace. She watched as her best friend paraded around the room in circles, holding two beautiful evening dresses; one a short, peacock blue, and the other a flowing peach. The dresses glistened in the dormitory’s light and Hilary could hardly tear her eyes away from them. The soft silks were sure to be a hand-crafted creation of a truly magnificent designer, and perhaps they were even unique... Hilary snapped out of her daze and shook her head.
The parcel containing the items had arrived for her only earlier in the day with a note attached from her mother. But Hilary didn’t read the note, nor was she ever going to wear the dresses.
Greta sighed. “Fine… I guess It’s up to you… but you would look super stunning in them. Not to mention, everyone would be so jealous!” Greta flopped down on the bed opposite from Hilary’s and started stroking the long peach gown fondly. Hilary didn’t surrender to her best friend’s puppy eyes.
“My mother just can’t win me over with a few labeled gifts, Greta. Don’t you see that it’s just a bribe? She wants me to wear one of them to her wedding rehearsal; I know that’s what the note says. But I’m not. This is her fifth husband in three years! You can have them if you want, otherwise I’ll be sending them back to Paris in their black velvet boxes.”
“They are from Paris? I wish my mother wasn’t so caught up in her cook-books... otherwise she may spend some of her money on me for once-” Hilary cut Greta off.
“I would rather a mother who actually cared about her children, even if she just cared about us slightly more than her fortunes and popularity. She lives in the world of socialites and dinner parties – your mother may be known for her catering amongst these parties, but she still spends more time with her family than mine.” Hilary stood up and walked over to the dormitory’s open window. The sky was turning a soft pink as the sun set over the city of Fawcett and Beatrice Paxton’s ladies college looked over the area.
“Okay,” Greta carefully laid the dress down on the bed. “You win. Your mother is a bitch. But that doesn’t mean she can make your life miserable – you’re at a boarding school, you don’t need to see her at all! Just forget about it. Come on, we have soccer training before the formal dinner.”
Hilary followed Greta silently out the dormitory door, watching her friend’s silky black mane shimmer in her wake. Hilary didn’t share dormitories with Greta, yet it almost felt as if they did. Hilary’s real roommate was always stuck in the library now that she was in her final year of schooling, and Greta just couldn’t stand her border.

How did you decide on your career?

I want to be a pediatric oncology nurse, but I get queasy every time I watch a nurse draw my blood. I wanted to be a wedding gown designer, but I don't want to have an extremely low income. I also thought about being a physical therapist that specializes in helping animals, not really humans. I love animals (especially cats) but I don't think I would like to see animals in medical emergencies, so I crossed out a vet. I have no clue on how to decide this and would just like some ideas on how to sort it all out. Thanks!

I feel completely trapped. How can I get away?

Please don't be frightened off by the length of this...

Okay, so I am 20 years old.. I moved in with my father and his girlfriend this past July. He told me they needed help picking up her son from school and needed someone to watch him. He said I would be able to spend weekends with my Mother and Sister if I wanted to, and if I didn’t have to watch his girlfriends son. (I’ll be referring to him as Jay, just to make typing this easier)

Of course, I accepted, to be helpful. Once I got there, everything was fine. I got my own room and television. (With my mom, I shared with my sister). Soon, I was given chores, (cleaning the kitchen and living room) which is fine. I felt kind of lazy not doing anything.

After a couple of months, I start hearing a lot of complaints about me. Saying I’ve been chipping all their plates and I’m way too careless. (The plates were chipped well before I arrived). I was told that I need to stop leaning the coffee mugs against the door so that when it’s opened, they all fall out. (Sorry… but I don’t think I have that magical power.. And as far as I know, no mugs have fallen out when the cabinet opens.) I was hearing how my hair smells really bad and It’s stinking up the whole house. (I wash my hair just as much as anyone else.. With shampoo.) And then I hear about how I’m too tough on Jay when I’m helping him with his homework after all I did was ask him to correct his spelling of one of his spelling words… None of this was said to my face, but it was said in front of my face, if that makes any sense..

At first, I kind of ignored it. It bothered me… but I didn’t say anything. Then, it began to be too much. They started talking about how I’m so stupid and behind in life because I don’t have a job and I’m not in college and I don’t drive yet… There are reasons for these things that they are very aware of…

*I don’t drive because my dad doesn’t want me to… Nobody has ever taught me and he doesn’t want me to learn. He says it would be a waste since I wouldn’t be allowed to borrow anyone’s car and I wouldn’t be purchased one of my own.

*I don’t have a job because, again, my dad doesn’t want me to have one. I’ve never gotten a clear reason for this, but he’s said before that it’s because I never know when I’ll be needed to baby-sit or I’f there will be any emergency or something… I don’t really know..

*I’m not in school because he went and spent all the money that was saved up for me. Almost immediately after I graduated high school, he decided to have a mid life crisis and bought a new car, designer clothes, a new laptop, expensive golf clubs, baseball bats (he doesn’t even gold of play baseball…) and a new computer for his girlfriend. And who knows what else.. So I had to put my education on hold.

After they mentioned that, I finally said something about it. They responded by telling me that they don’t care and it doesn’t matter how I feel because that’s their opinion of me and they have a right to an opinion. I didn’t know how to reply to that.. I just started crying because it was getting worse and worse.. They openly call me stupid right to my face and tell me EVERYTHING that’s wrong with me… How I was raised badly, I’m so unreasonable, I’m a crybaby (That one may be true… but oh well), I’m so lazy, I’m so stupid, I’m always complaining about all the chores I have to do (I was given a lot more, since I need to be cured of this extreme laziness I have). It goes on and on.. I hear them complaining on the phone to their friends and parents about how I’m so difficult and I’m such a burden.

One day, I was getting dresses in my room and I hear someone attacking the doorknob with a hammer. I open the door and my dad’s girlfriend is standing there, yelling at me that the door should never be locked. And I’m so disrespectful for locking a door in her house. That was the day I packed all my stuff and called my mom. I had a talk with my dad and his girlfriend and was told that I cannot ever leave. And how since he’s my father, I have to do what he says.. (I’m 20.. An adult.. I’m pretty sure I can leave if I want) Then he said I’m not allowed to ever step foot in my mother’s apartment because it’s still under his name (Which is true…) I thought about moving in with a friend, but that won’t work, due to things not necessary to get into right here…

My dad has a huge temper and he get violent. He’s hit me a few times since being here, and one time, he tackled me to the ground.. When I call my mom, he keeps saying it was self defense and that I attacked him first. I’ve never attacked anyone. I’m too afraid. I’ve thought about calling the police, but he said it would be stupid since my mom’s apartment is under his name and if he goes to jail, the city would take the apartment, so her and my sister would live out in the street.

I’ve been trying to get a job but I’m not really allowed to leave the house anymore except to get Jay from school. So I’m limited to on
online applications. I got a call from KFC once, asking for an interview, but my dad said “It’s just KFC. You can do better than that.” then he took my phone, got the number, and called asking to reschedule my interview, and of course after that, they didn’t want me anymore… And I know once I do get a job, it will take me a very long time… Years, I’m thinking, to save enough money to get my own place to live…

I feel I’ve been having nervous breakdowns almost everyday lately. I just, out of nowhere, sit on the floor and cry for about an hour. Maybe two.

It’s been suggested I join the military, but I have some heart health issues that won’t allow it.

I’ve been seriously considering just climbing out the window, but then, I really would be stupid, because I’d just die on the streets..

Does anyone have any other suggestions? Please? Thank you in advanced.
